Bears Bowling, Books, Bikes, Babes

November 8, 2011 @ No Comments

Judging by Monday night’s victory at Philadelphia, the Chicago Bears are on something of a roll. And some of them will be on something of a roll next Monday night. That’s when the first Big Cat Charities Celebrity Bowling Tournament will be held at eSkape Entertainment, 350 McHenry Rd., in Buffalo Grove, Ill.

OK, a bike, book cover, bowler or April Rose? No contest.

Former Bears offensive tackle James “Big Cat” Williams is the man behind the charity and the Nov. 14 event that is to raise money to help single parents and battle hunger and homelessness. Tickets are $200 per bowler or $600 for a four-person team. General admission for non-bowlers is $100.

Among former Bears expected to attend are Richard Dent, Gary Fencik, Otis Wilson, among others. Among current Bears expected to attend are Roberto Garza, Patrick Mannelly, Gabe Carimi, among others.

Registration for the event starts at 6 p.m. with bowling beginning at 7 p.m. Further information is available at bigcatcharities.com.

For fans who buy his book at the event, he also will sign one other item brought per person.

On display will be a newly designed Bad Boy urban bike. Junk Food Clothing also will design a second Bad Boy that will be the prize in an online giveaway.

It is no secret that April Rose is a favorite around here — and other places, too. The 2008 Maxim Hometown Hotties winner has been featured on this site before and will be again once more. OK, more than once. But today is a good start.

April is the main attraction in a video set in Hawaii that features bikinis and serves as an homage to the military. When she posted the video Monday, your humble correspondent was more than willing to enlist — provided that April was in charge. She issued a return tweet that demanded 20 pushups.

Well, if those 20 could be spread out, no problem. Otherwise, it might be time to become a conscientious objector. Which is about as conscientious as some of us might be.

April is featured in a photo spread at maxim.com.
Of course, she also is in this video, if that is your preference.

And if you liked that, you just might like some more videos from Maxim:
