Bears May Be on Road to Postseason Berth But …

December 22, 2012 @ No Comments

After starting the 2012 NFL season with seven victories in their first eight games, the Chicago Bears have an 8-6 record entering Week 16. Meaning, as far as landing a postseason berth, all bets are off. OK, not really. Not in a league whose popularity lies in gambling (fantasy football included).

What were the odds that we would run a photo of Arizona Cardinals cheerleader Alyssa rather than an NFL player …

With road games at Arizona and Detroit to finish the regular season, the Bears figure to finish 9-7 at worst. Which could be good enough to make the playoffs. And, judging by the latest odds from the fine folks at Bovada ((www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV), the Bears are about as long a longshot to win the Super Bowl.

At 60-1 to win the Super Bowl, the Bears are ahead of only the Minnesota Vikings (75-1) among teams still on the board. Here are the latest Super Bowl odds and other categories from Bovada:

Speaking of memorable moments and impressive figures (and ever if we weren’t), let the record show that on Friday “Gangnam Style” by South Korean entertainer Psy surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. For those who have had enough “Gangnam Style” and would like to move onto other video, here you go.
