It is the day after the day after Thanksgiving. And some of us — more specifically your humble correspondent — still are feeling the after-effects or tryptophan or too much pumpkin pie (as if there is such a thing as too much pumpkin pie) or whatever.
So begging your indulgence, we will dispense with any words of wisdom today (as if there is such a thing as words of wisdom on other days) and devote today’s editions to the visual.
Which, I believe, means photographs and/or videos.
Not that I did anything on Black Friday to create fatigue. I must admit I did watch a fair amount of sporting events on Friday. Among them was the Chicago Blackhawks-Dallas Stars game. More accurately, the closing second of regulation and the shootout (I think I must have dozed off during overtime and the start of the shootout). All I know is it took close to forever for the Hawks to prevail in the shootout. So many players had the chance to take a shot on goal that I was beginning to wonder when Bobby and Brett Hull might be called upon to participate for their former teams.
