After two consecutive days of obituaries, we now return to our normal programming. Well, provided that you think our programming around here is normal. Some of us favor a broad definition of the word and will live happily ever after.
Anyway, because of extenuating circumstances (mainly attending the funeral of my brother and its immediate aftermath), the editorial department at ElliottHarris.com will come as close to taking a day off as has happened since this site was launched several years ago (sometime after the Eisenhower administration, if memory serves — which it generally does not).
We will provide a mention of the Dec. 12, 2013, “Sports & Torts” show and be done. Well, we will be after the video department around here finds some worthy material.
“Sports & Torts” is set to feature model/actress Allison Papp and basketball great Jamal Wilkes on the program, co-hosted by David Spada and Elliott Harris at noon Central time on Talkzone.com. The highly acclaimed interview program (well, it is held in such high regard in the Spada and Harris households) will become available later in the day via podcast on Talkzone.com.
Allison will be discussing her career and being a brand ambassador of Icebreaker, a new store in downtown Chicago that caters to those fond of a lively athletic lifestyle.
OK, somebody cue the video department around here, please:
