Stormy Daniels vs. NLCS No Contest

October 15, 2011 @ No Comments

Sometimes some of us have to make sacrifices in the name of work. Such was the case Friday evening when it would have been quite simple to stay on the couch at home and watch Game 5 of the National League Championship Series between the visiting Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals.

Proof that at least one of us was working Friday night. Actually both Stormy Daniels and your correspondent were in action (in varying degrees of action).

Instead of that, however, your humble correspondent traveled to Chicago Heights to visit Club 390. It is what generally known as a gentlemen’s club. What I was there for — especially for those who do not consider me a gentleman — was purely professional.

Adult-entertainment actress Stormy Daniels was to perform on-stage and sign autographs for patrons as part of the establishment’s seven-year anniversary. Talk about a seven-year itch and a way to handle that.

So there I was waiting to interview the porn star (and, yes, she would agree during the interview, the term is used too loosely and it does apply to the stunning blond beauty) and off in the distance on a television screen was the Brewers-Cardinals game. That was my perspective from the VIP area, where management had been kind enough to locate me in anticpation of chatting with Stormy.

OK, so perhaps I was the only one in the place whose eyes were on the TV and not on the girls showing off their pole-dancing skills, among other things. Anyway, the harder I looked, the more clear it became that I was not going to be able to figure out the score of the ballgame.

Even after I had gone to a private room in the back of the facility and interviewed Stormy and returned to the VIP area to await her performance for the Club 390 patrons, I still could not see the screen any better.

Then it dawned on me (albeit a little belatedly). When in Rome, do as the Romans. Or, when in a place such as Club 390, do what the folks there do: Look at the body language. OK so guys in baseball uniforms might just differ from the lovely ladies in considerably less clothing. But if I would look at the movements closely, I might be able to sense something.

And, hey, it worked. Well, that and texting unnamed sources (and they know who they are) to find out the final score was 7-1. I could see the Cardinals had won. But filling in the blank for the score brought a certain satistfaction. Then again, so did paying attention to the fetching females who paraded in their show of physical fitness — or however you might want to characterize what they were showing.

For those who did not have the opportunity to meet Stormy at Club 390 (and even for those who did), you can follow Stormy on Twitter, where she is @StormyDaniels. She also has her own adult (what other type would you expect?) Web site at stormydaniels.com.

If I didn’t know better (and I don’t), I’d say it’s time for the interview with Stormy. Here it is:
