At last Elliott Harris is master of his domain. Thankfully, not Web master. Elliott worked at the Chicago Sun-Times from March 1979-August 2011 when the paper decided it could do without him and his Quick Hits column that he had written since its inception in 1998. Before that, he was a sports copy editor, high school sports editor and sports writer for the paper. If nothing else, he left behind a legacy of gratuitous photos that the paper still finds room for.
A St. Louis native (which must explain why he pokes fun at the Cubs whenever possible), he actually has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Missouri (OK, so the standards to get in and out of school were way easier back in the day).
At elliottharris.com. he promises to continue the pursuit for the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service (or whatever the cyberspace equivalent might be) by focusing on fetching females the world of sports and how it intersects with dancers/cheerleaders/attractive women the worlds of entertainment and beautiful women information. Or something like that.
