With Charles Tillman re-signing with the Chicago Bears, Phil Jackson apparently on his way to running the New York Knicks, the Cubs naming Jeff Samardzija their Opening Day pitcher, Big Ten Conference basketball tournament action and other assorted newsworthy items, there should be ample topics to cover today.
And indeed there are. I’m just not in a mood to do so. Blame it on allergies or whatever that makes it difficult to craft the typical creativity you have grown to expect around here type without having to find a tissue to blow my nose. Another day of sleep seems to have helped me ward off whatever mutant strain is attacking my system. It now seems to be isolated in my head (and, yes, there is plenty of empty space there to fill up). So once again we will be cutting short the text today.
Despite feeling under the weather, may we wish those celebrating a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. We have a few of Loop Rock Girl Shannon Ihrke’s photos to mark the occasion. For her entire St. Patty’s photo gallery, you can click here.
