Monday meanderings: Brevity being the soul of wit, today’s effort figures to be one of the wittiest this site has seen (and, yes, the bar has not been set high in that regard). Not that Super Bowl XLIX failed to provide fodder for discussion. The New England Patriots’ 28-24 victory over the defending champion Seattle Seahawks certainly was a classic contest.
The reason for brevity today is whatever illness dominated my Sunday. Stomach flu, food poisoning, whatever it was put a crimp in any plans for the day. As did the non-stop snow — all of which went unattended, thereby causing great mental anguish. Which completed the daily double to go with the physical discomfort that whatever the malady was can cause.
I did see some of the first half and the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. With a lot of sleep to go with that. And more sleep ahead shortly.
So enough of this exercise in creative thought typing. Let’s cut to the photos and videos, shall we?
