Here is what can happen Thursday (April 19) that affects the NBA playoffs — not that Chicago Bulls fans necessarily need be concerned with whether their heroes prevail in Miami against the Heat (after all, the Bulls had homecourt throughtout the postseason last year and it didn’t seem to halt the Heat from reaching the Finals:
* The Bulls can clinch top seed in the East with a victory.
* New York can clinch a playoff berth with a Milwaukee loss.
* Dallas can clinch a playoff berth with a Houston loss.
A reminder for Bulls fans that the team and center Joakim Noah are teaming up with Kia Motors America to host the Kia Art Supply Drive on Saturday (April 21) before the game at the United Center. Proceeds will go to support Noah’s Arc Foundation.
Fans are encouraged to drop off new or unused art supplies at United Center admission gates, wich open at 5:30 p.m. The first 250 fans attending the game who donate will receive a voucher to meet Noah and receive his autograph after the game. Even those not attending may donate art supplies at Kia dealers. To make a financial donation, fans shoudl go to Bulls.com/kiaartdrive.
As promised (and occasionally accomplished), here is more video from C2E2 2012 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo). Today’s we feature Supergirl, who just flew in from Krypton — and, boy, are her arms tired (drum roll, please; thank you).
